Rod ends are among the most adaptable and commonly used linking apparatus in the agricultural, automotive and HVAC industries. Because Triangle is able to completely customize the rod end and linkage size, gauging and material used; the applications of these parts are endless and completely specific to each customer. Rod ends are used to transfer motion, whether the motion is shifting a gear in a lawnmower or controlling the throttle position of a Class 8 truck. Triangle has customized rod ends and linkages for use in headlight mechanisms and convertible tops. We have manufactured parts for the some of the largest automotive and agricultural companies in the world.
Material options: Bearings can be sintered iron, sintered bronze, nylon or manufactured from other materials as requested. All retainer rings are protected by zinc. Rod ends and linkages are made from cold rolled steel or galvanized steel. Please inquire (920) 235-3710 for additional options.

Applications: These motion transfer bearings and parts have been used in the production of agricultural equipment such as tractors and combines; in convertible top and shaft linkages for auto manufacturers, in the production of outdoor power equipment, such as lawn mowers and rototillers; solar tracking systems and satellite trackers and for damper controls in HVAC equipment.
Our rod end and linkage assemblies generally have fixed bearing positions. We do offer an adjustable rod end and linkage design as well. For added flexibility, our self-aligning rod ends can also be custom designed in a variety of different fits from loose to tight.
Triangle specializes in custom applications. We do hundreds of special applications including customized bore size, shape and length. If you do not see a part below that matches your individual needs, we can customize to your standards.
Bore sizes typically range from 3/16”–1”, other sizes are available upon request.
Our rod ends are self-aligning for added flexibility and adjustability. The bearings can also be custom designed in a variety of different fits from loose to tight. Each end can have a different bore size, please specify when ordering.
