Reservoir Spherical Bearings

Serving similar functions as ball bearings, our reservoir or sleeve spherical bearings work better in dusty or high dirt environments that normally would encumber a ball bearing. Reservoir bearings are encapsulated, allowing the oil to seep though the porous bronze or iron, while remaining protected against external elements. Being self-aligning, they are engineered to adjust angular misalignments of the shaft relative to its housing.
Proven to reduce wear, maintenance and extend your product’s lifecycle, our self-aligning reservoir bearings have a multitude of corresponding mounts, including pillow block, cushioned and flange mounts. They are available in a variety of sizes, with grease or oil lubricant.
Our self-aligning bearings and accessories are an affordable alternative to ball bearings for the right product and environment.
The ID of the bearing is sized to allow for shaft clearance, the shaft spins within the bearing while the ball remains stationary.
