Our steel set screw shaft collars are manufactured in three sizes: 5/8", 3/4" and 1". You have the option of customizing bores and plating. Shaft collars are used to ensure the shaft remains within the bearing. They are commonly purchased with our stamped self-aligning spherical bearings. They offer superior strength thanks to a spring lock system that allows for equalized pressure and friction. Set screws are difficult to loosen because they are held to the shaft by tension.
